About Cayman Cove™ Rum Cake

Established 1983

In 1983 we went from baking in our Kitchen to opening our first bakery. We specialize in rich and flavorful heritage style cakes. All natural, made from natures best. We aren't interested in trends or fads we are passionate about the preservation of old style, old world baking focusing on the rich and flavorful flavors that made baking the art that it is.

Each cake is made from scratch using our famous Rum Molasses cake recipe. A taste so rich and unique no other Rum cake compares. Each one is hand packed in a real hand made wood barrel. 

We make up to 3,000 cakes per day between this and our sister bakeries, Kentucky Woods and Adam Matthews cheesecake bakery. We maintain a 97% bakery inspection rating and are very proud of our Good Manufacturing Practices rating! 

​From it's beginning in West Bay on Grand Cayman Island to today, we have always maintained the tradition of a true Caribbean Run style cake. That is why it has a wonderful molasses flavor.

​Our staff has over 100 years of combined baking experience and knowledge and from that and our travels comes the Cayman Cove™ cake.
